Mission statement
Old friends in a new Dress was the title of several books published in the 19th century which presented updated versions of Aesop’s fables for children. kandelsmith transports this idea into the 21st century by attiring these old friends (fairy tales, folk tales, nursery rhymes, alphabet books and other stories), in the new dress of tablet technology to bring some of the wonderful children’s books published in the 19th and early 20th centuries in England and the United States to new generations of children and adults.
